Can't Break Me features heavy metal styled compositions from guitarist Jeff Kollman, who is joined in Edwin Dare by remarkable bassist Kevin Chown, brother Tom Kollman on drums and Bryce Barnes on throat. The diversity and musicianship on this release are just amazing and guitarists will have a hard time choosing their favorite solo -- there are a dozen to pick from. Tracks such as "Never Had Time" and "Don't Listen To Your Head" stand out with super choruses, massive riffage and pulsing bass work. Edwin Dare has been characterized as a blend between Queensrÿche, Judas Priest and Dream Theater, but the truth is that the band just stands out as completely original. Don't miss this chance to hear Kollman showing his stuff in a band format. Now including unreleased bonus track. Heavy Metal, total running time,  46:00

My Time To Die - 1998
(Marmaduke/Pony Canyon)

TRACKS: = Listen

I Feel It
Obsession Of Intense...
Take Away My Heart
Perfect Serenity
Weight Of The World
We Need To Hold On
Look To The Stars
My Time To Die
The Monster
Make Us Stronger
My Time To Die again featues the Kollman brothers (Jeff, guitar and Tom, drums) along with Kevin Chown on bass and Bryce Barnes on throat. Their 1998 CD offers ten cuts brimming with razor-sharp distortion, and excellent songwriting from start to finish. Here, you'll get your daily requirement of pulsing bass and drum work alongside Kollman's brutally wicked and wickedly brutal six-string solos. The guitarist takes it down a notch on "Perfect Serenity", playing some fine acoustic lines, but overall the CD features the powerful sound of Edwin Dare in all its glory -- fast, intricate fretwork in a four piece setting.  Heavy Metal, total running time, 40:08
